Upcoming changes to occupations for May 2019 and May 2020 OES estimates

During the transition to the 2018 Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system, the OES estimates will be based on a “hybrid” structure that is combination of the 2010 SOC and 2018 SOC. A similar process was used to transition from the 2000 SOC to the 2010 SOC, as described in OES FAQ F.8. The 2010/2018 hybrid structure is currently under development.
