An official website of the United States government
Effective with the release of the May 2024 estimates in the spring of 2025, static web pages for individual occupations, states, metropolitan areas, and industries will no longer be created. Approximately 2,000 pages linked here will not be created and the URLs currently associated with them will no longer work:
A new profile application will replace the occupation profile pages above and add user flexibility to display additional measures that were not displayed on the web pages. This profile application, now available for our May 2023 estimates, allows users to display 15 different employment and wages measures to show sorted data for areas and industries based on user selections. The data tables from the national, state, metropolitan area, and industry pages can be generated using our one screen data search and all of the data can be accessed from our XLS files.
Additionally, a new map application will replace the current map changer that allowed users to toggle between static maps. This map application, which is now available for our May 2023 estimates, will allow users to create state or metropolitan area maps based on the same 15 measures in four different color schemes.
Customers with links to the profile pages should update their links to https://data.bls.gov/oesprofile/. The link will be the same for all occupations, and customers can use the dropdown boxes to select their occupation.
Customers with links to industry, state, or MSA pages may link to the one screen data search, or the XLS files:
