Occupational employment projections

Even though job openings are expected to occur at all levels of education and training, opportunities to advance into the higher paying occupations will generally require post-secondary education. This article discusses projected changes in the occupational structure of U.S. employment from 1990 to 2005. It also includes analyses of the impact of various factors on occupational employment, especially industry employment trends and expected changes in the occupational structure of industries.
