In February 2015, all 38 metropolitan divisions had over-the-year unemployment rate decreases. The largest decline occurred in Detroit-Dearborn-Livonia, Michigan (-3.6 percentage points). Other divisions with large unemployment rate decreases included Warren-Troy-Farmington Hills, Michigan; Elgin, Illinois; and Lake County-Kenosha County, Illinois-Wisconsin.

In February, San Francisco-Redwood City-South San Francisco, California, and San Rafael, California, had the lowest unemployment rates among the divisions, 3.7 percent each. Gary, Indiana, had the highest rate, 8.3 percent.
