Median weekly earnings of full-time wage and salary workers were $801 in the second quarter of 2015. Women had median usual weekly earnings of $726. This is 81.9 percent of the $886 median for men.

Among occupational groups, people employed full time in management, business, and financial operations occupations had the highest median weekly earnings — $1,401 for men and $1,064 for women. Men and women employed in service jobs earned $587 and $457, respectively.
In office and administrative support occupations, median weekly earnings for men were $683, and $655 for women. In construction and extraction occupations, median weekly earnings for men were $742, and $700 for women.
