New Hampshire and West Virginia had the largest percentage decreases in professional and business services employment, −1.5 percent and −1.0 percent, respectively.
Looking at the change in the numbers of employees, Texas, California, and Florida had the largest employment increases over the September 2017 to September 2018 period, all between 72,500 and 80,400. New Hampshire experienced the largest decrease in professional and business services, −1,200.
