U.S. export prices decreased 12.0 percent from June 2022 to June 2023, the largest 12-month decline since the 12-month percent change data was first published in September 1984. Six destinations had their largest 12-month percent decline in U.S. export prices since the 12-month percent change data for destinations began in December 2018. These were China (−14.1 percent), the European Union (−7.8 percent), Japan (−14.3 percent), Latin America (−20.2 percent), Mexico (−16.7 percent) and the Pacific Rim (−4.2 percent).

From June 2022 to June 2023, export prices to Canada decreased 4.2 percent, the largest 12-month decline since June 2020. Export prices to Germany increased 1.5 percent.
