The largest job gains occurred in Texas (+284,200), California (+180,500), and Florida (+147,900). The largest percentage increase occurred in Idaho (+3.6 percent), followed by Missouri and South Carolina (+2.8 percent each). Employment also increased at least 2.0 percent over the year in Alaska, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Texas, and Utah.
