The Producer Price Index for final demand increased 3.2 percent for the year ended in February 2025. From February 2024 to February 2025, producer prices for final demand goods rose 1.7 percent, while prices for final demand services increased 3.9 percent.

Within final demand goods, foods prices had the largest 12-month increase since February 2023, at 5.9 percent. Energy prices fell 3.7 percent over the year ended February 2025, the sixth month with an annual decrease since June 2024.
Within final demand services, trade prices rose 4.0 percent. Producer prices for transportation and warehousing increased 2.6 percent from February 2024 to February 2025, while prices for services less trade, transportation, and warehousing increased 4.0 percent.
