The Producer Price Index for final demand advanced 2.7 percent from September 2024 to September 2025. Prices for final demand goods increased 3.3 percent, while prices for final demand services rose 2.5 percent.

The increase in producer prices for final demand goods over the year ended September 2025 included a 4.0-percent increase in prices for food and a 3.8-percent increase in energy prices. Within services, prices for trade rose 1.5 percent, while transportation and warehousing prices increased 3.4 percent.
