Real (adjusted for inflation) average hourly earnings increased 0.3 percent from March 2025 to March 2026, seasonally adjusted, after increasing 1.3 percent over the year ended February 2026. The change in real hourly earnings resulted from a 3.5-percent increase in average hourly earnings and a 3.3-percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers.
