QCEW Field Layouts for ENB-END Files (NAICS-Based)
The tables below describe the file layouts for ENB(.enb) and END(.end) formatted QCEW data files. These legacy files are accessible from the historical NAICS-Based Data Files table. ENB files contain four quarters of data along with annual averages. When a complete year of data is not available for the most-recent year, data are instead stored in END files. END files are broken down by quarter. The first table below details the ENB file layout. The second table below details the END file layout.
ENB File Layout
This table describes the file layout for NAICS-based ENB (.enb) files. These files are available from the historical NAICS-Based Data Files table. QCEW provides formatting tools which help format these files. The table below is available as an Excel workbook (.xlsx), a comma separated values file (.csv), and as a flat, text file (.txt). END File Layout
The table below describes the file layout for NAICS-based END(.end) files. These files are available from the historical NAICS-Based Data Files Table. END files are provided when a full year's worth of data is not yet published. Each END files contains one quarter's worth of data. QCEW provides formatting tools which help format these files.
