Reload of the QCEW 2018 and 2019 Downloadable Data Files
On September 9th, 2019, QCEW reloaded the final 2018 and preliminary 2019 data files available on https://www.bls.gov/cew/downloadable-data-files.htm. This file update affected not only the downloadable files, but also QCEW Data Viewer and the QCEW Open Data API.
The files created on September 4th, 2019 incorrectly included preliminary QCEW data originally published on June 5th, 2019. With the September 9th reload of these QCEW 2018 and 2019 files, 2018 data are final, and 2019 over-the-year comparisons with 2018 are correct. 2019 levels are unaffected by this issue.
