Section 2 - Rented Living Quarters

Section 2 collects rent and related expenses from consumer units who rent their homes or other properties. The questions asked during the first interview vary from those asked during subsequent interviews (see options 1. and 2. below).

The consumer unit is first asked, "Do you own this home?"

  1. No, this home is rented. - Interview 1 [and replacement CUs]
  2. No, this home is rented. - Interviews 2 through 5
  3. Yes.
