Changes to After Tax Income

The provider of the external tax estimation model that BLS uses to generate estimates of federal and state tax liabilities and after-tax income did not update the model for the 2024 tax year. Therefore, BLS is unable to produce federal tax estimates, state tax estimates, and estimates of after-tax income in the 2024 Consumer Expenditure (CE) tables, LABSTAT database, or public use microdata.
