The Producer Price Index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services increased 2.8 percent for the year ending December 2018, following a 2.3-percent increase for the previous 12 months. The index for final demand goods increased 1.7 percent in 2018, after increasing 3.5 percent in 2017. Prices for final demand services increased 2.8 percent, following a 2.1-percent increase in 2017.
