Producer prices for final demand rose 7.4 percent over the year ended November 2022. A 9.7-percent rise in producer prices for goods, a 5.9-percent rise in producer prices for services, and a 19.0-percent rise in producer prices for construction led to this price increase.

Among goods, producer prices for food rose 15.5 percent, producer prices for energy rose 16.2 percent, and producer prices for goods less food and energy rose 6.2 percent from November 2021 to November 2022.
Over the year, producer prices for trade services rose 10.8 percent, producer prices for transportation and warehousing services rose 12.7 percent, and producer prices for services less trade, transportation, and warehousing rose 2.7 percent.
