Import air passenger fares increased 11.8 percent for the year ended September 2026

Import air passenger fares increased 11.8 percent for the year ended September 2026, due in part to a 30.9-percent increase in Latin American/Caribbean fares and a 17.6-percent increase in European fares. Asian import fares declined 1.2 percent over the year.

Export air passenger fares increased 5.2 percent from September 2025 to September 2026 as Latin American/Caribbean fares increased 16.9 percent followed by Asian fares at 3.4 percent and European fares at 1.8 percent.
