Revised measure names and LABSTAT codes for Labor Productivity and Costs data

Effective with the February 2, 2023 Labor Productivity and Costs release, several measure names and series codes will be changing to improve consistency across all productivity products and reflect the data more accurately. Three output and related data series for the nonfarm business, business, and nonfinancial corporate sectors will have changes in measure name only.  Three output and related data series for the manufacturing, durable manufacturing, and nondurable manufacturing sectors will have changes in measure name and LABSTAT series codes as the output series in these sectors are different in concept to the output in the nonfarm business, business, and nonfinancial corporate sectors. This change is done to clarify the concept of output these sectors measure. In LABSTAT Major Sector Quarterly Labor Productivity and Costs series ids, PRS84006041 for example, the 9th and 10th digit, which represent the measure, will be affected.
