Data Sources

The table below lists the data sources that are used in the estimation of the levels measures for the Office of Productivity and Technology (OPT) including output, hours worked, and compensation. These levels measures are used to calculate the Productivity and Costs measures including labor productivity, unit labor costs, and real hourly compensation; these productivity and costs calculations are described in the BLS Handbook of Methods.
