Prices for U.S. imports rise 0.5% in September; export prices record no change


The price index for U.S. imports rose 0.5 percent in September, after declining 0.4 percent the previous month. Prices for U.S. imports increased 3.5 percent for the year ended in September. U.S. export prices recorded no change in September and rose 2.7 percent over the past 12 months.
