Import prices decline 0.2% in June, led by lower fuel prices; export prices dip 0.2%


U.S. import prices declined 0.2 percent in June, as lower fuel prices more than offset higher nonfuel prices. Despite the June decline, prices for U.S. imports rose 1.5 percent over the past year. U.S. export prices fell 0.2 percent in June and advanced 0.6 percent over the past 12 months.
