From March 2020 to March 2021, compensation costs for private industry workers increased 2.8 percent. For the year ended March 2020, the increase was 2.8 percent.

For the year ended March 2021, compensation cost increases ranged from 2.1 percent for professional and business services to 5.3 percent for financial activities. For the year ended March 2020, compensation costs for financial activities increased 2.8 percent, while compensation costs for professional business services increased 3.2 percent.
