Over the 14-year period from August 2010 to August 2024, the Consumer Price Indexes for coffee reached its peak in February 2023, while prices for roasted coffee peaked 1 month later in March 2023. Instant coffee reached its highest price in this period in July 2024. In August 2024, coffee prices were 24.0 percent higher than in August 2010, while prices for roasted coffee were up 24.5 percent and prices for instant coffee rose 14.9 percent.
