20 percent of Utah's labor force under the age of 25 in 2019

In 2019, 20.2 percent of Utah's civilian labor force was less than 25 years of age, the largest share for that age group among all states and the District of Columbia. Utah's labor force had the largest share of those ages 16 to 19 (6.5 percent) and of those ages 20 to 24 (13.8 percent).

In 2019, 60.6 percent of the District of Columbia's civilian labor force was 25 to 44 years of age, a larger share than any state. Compared with states, the District of Columbia had the largest share among those ages 25 to 34 (36.6 percent) and those ages 35 to 44 (24.0 percent). However, the District of Columbia had the lowest share of its labor force among those ages 45 to 54 (13.8 percent).

In 2019, 9.9 percent of Vermont's labor force was age 65 and over, the largest share for that age group among all states and the District of Columbia.
