In January 2022, 3 states had over-the-year increases in the number of job openings greater than 100 percent. Minnesota had the largest over-the-year percent increase in job openings (124.8 percent), followed by Maine (110.3 percent) and New Hampshire (103.1 percent).

West Virginia had the smallest increase in job openings over the year, 6.0 percent in January 2022.
