American Time Use Survey (ATUS) Eating & Health Module Microdata Files
The ATUS Eating & Health (EH) Module was fielded from 2006 to 2008 and again in 2014 to 2016. The EH Module data files contain additional information related to eating, meal preparation and health.
For more information on both modules, please visit the Eating and Health Module web pages maintained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service, a sponsor of the EH Module.
This page includes links to the ATUS EH Module microdata files and supporting documentation. Researchers can use the EH microdata files to produce their own estimates or do other analyses. Each ZIP file contains a data file along with computer programs that will read the data file into SAS, SPSS, and Stata. The data files are in CSV-format (comma-separated values).
Data for 2016 currently are being processed and have not yet been released.
The microdata files do not contain estimates. Tables showing estimates are available from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service.
