The unemployment rate for people with a disability, at 7.3 percent in 2019, declined by 0.7 percentage point from the previous year. The jobless rate for people with a disability has trended down since 2011.

The employment–population ratio (19.3 percent) and the labor force participation rate (20.8 percent) for people with a disability showed little or no movement from 2018 to 2019. Both measures generally have trended up since around 2014, however.
