Revisions to Productivity and Costs for Detailed Industries - May 2026
On May 28, 2026, BLS released Productivity by State - 2025 and Productivity and Costs by Industry: Wholesale Trade and Retail Trade Industries - 2025. Data from the following releases were revised:
- Productivity and Costs by Industry: Manufacturing and Mining Industries - 2024
- Productivity and Costs by Industry: Selected Service-Providing Industries - 2024
- Total Factor Productivity for Detailed Industries - 2022
The revisions are a result of incorporating new and revised source data from:
- The BLS Current Employment Statistics (CES) and Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW)
- The Census Bureau's Nonemployer Statistics and 2022 Economic Census
The revised data can be accessed in Tables, Charts, and Databases.
